The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing production assembly equipment to support high-volume manufacturing. This role includes creating layouts, engineering drawings, and pneumatic systems while assisting with prototype builds and troubleshooting. Description

The Design Engineer will:

• Develop conceptual layouts for production assembly equipment.
• Create detailed engineering drawings from conceptual designs.
• Design pneumatic control systems for assembly machinery.
• Process engineering change orders for existing equipment.
• Assemble and test prototype production assembly equipment.
• Troubleshoot and debug production assembly equipment.
• Provide technical support to production departments and other facilities.
• Select and specify mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components for equipment.

Profile

A successful Design Engineer should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Hands-on experience with assembly equipment design and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Familiarity with pneumatic systems and mechanical components preferred.
