We are partnered up with a growing electronics manufacturing company in their search for a Quality Manager to join the team. This position will report into the Plant Manager and will be responsible for managing a small team of quality professionals. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience, leadership experience, ISO 9001 and an understanding of measuring devices. Description
The Quality Manager - Electronics Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001, IPC standards, or other relevant certifications.
- Conduct regular audits (internal and external) to ensure compliance and address non-conformities promptly.
- Manage documentation, including quality manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions
- Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement in quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes for quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Establish and maintain processes for capturing and analyzing customer feedback and complaints.
- Act as the primary contact for quality-related customer inquiries and audits.
- Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and product reliability.
- Manage and mentor the QA team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss quality objectives, performance metrics, and improvement strategies.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to meet specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Stay up-to-date on technological advancements, quality tools, and industry trends to maintain competitive standards.
Profile
The ideal Quality Manager - Electronics Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Quality Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in quality management within an electronics manufacturing or industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ISO 9001, IPC standards, and other relevant certifications.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, CAPA).
- Proficiency in quality management software and ERP systems.
- Hands-on experience with electronic testing equipment and diagnostic tools
Job Offer
The successful Quality Manager - Electronics Manufacturing will be rewarded with the following:
- Base Salary of $80,000-$125,000 depending on experience
