Multifamily Superintendent - Family-Feel General Contractor
My client a 35-year old Madison-based general contractor is looking at add a superintendent due to pipeline growth. They are one of Madison's most respected general contractors and they are currently building mainly multifamily.

My client is a respected general contractor that has been building locally for over 35 years. They have built out their company through doing good work project by project and winning repeat business. They approach every job with flexibility and a commitment to quality.
Company Overview:
- Annual Revenue: $100M+
- All Negotiated Work
- Self-Preform: concrete foundations, flatwork, rough and finish carpentry, steel erection, windows and siding
- Pipleline: Currently a lot of multifamily but they will and can do a diverse range of commercial jobs
- Size: Approx. 100 people all in
Description
- Manage day-to-day construction site operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets quality standards.
- Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and budgets.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site personnel, including subcontractors and laborers.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement process improvements.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Good communicator, organized, and ability/desire to keep a clean site.
- Proven experience as a construction superintendent, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
