Description

Civil Utility Superintendent:

• Supervise water utility construction projects, including installation and repair of water mains, services, valves, and hydrants.
• Coordinate field crews and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety standards, and timelines.
• Interpret and enforce engineering drawings and specifications related to water infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal water regulations, including environmental and public health standards.
• Monitor material usage, equipment, and labor, maintaining accurate daily logs and reports.
• Troubleshoot field issues and collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and municipal agencies to resolve conflicts.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols specific to water utility operations, including confined space and trench safety.

Profile

A successful Civil Superintendent should have:

• 10+ years of experience with Civil Utility (water focused) Construction.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the construction field.
• A proactive and detail-oriented mindset to anticipate and address challenges.

Job Offer
