Project Coordinator - Construction - Melville, NY
The Project Coordinator - Construction - Melville, NY will play a key role in managing project documentation, tracking budgets, handling billing and compliance, and supporting internal coordination for the Construction Firm. This position requires a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual with prior experience in the construction industry.

A reputable and growing construction firm is seeking a Project Coordinator - Construction - Melville, NY to support day-to-day operations across both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, familiarity with construction management software, and experience working in a construction or architectural office setting. Description
Process Accounts Payable and Receivable, including cost coding in AIA format
Prepare and manage AIA invoicing and billing cycles
Perform data entry and budget tracking using Buildertrend (or similar CM platform)
Assist in compiling work orders, subcontracts, and other contract documentation
Manage insurance certificates and compliance documentation
- Manage all municipal agency documentation/filing and processes surrounding
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and purchasing
Profile
Experience with construction management platforms such as Buildertrend, PlanGrid, or Procore
Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Excel, and Word
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a construction or architectural office
Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with certified payroll and regulatory compliance is a plus
