Description

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to determine project costs.
• Prepare and present detailed cost reports, bids, and proposals.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to gather essential project information.
• Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor changes in design, scope, and project specifications to adjust estimates accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of estimated and actual project costs.
• Assist in developing and maintaining cost databases.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.

Profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost estimating principles.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift).
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
