Our client is seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to join their Massachusetts team. In this role, you will support the Superintendent in overseeing the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Assistant Superintendent - High-End Multifamily- Bolton, MA - Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing the day-to-day operations of high-end multifamily construction sites.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and laborers to ensure efficient project progress.
• Monitor the work site to ensure that safety standards are met and all activities comply with building codes and regulations.
• Help maintain project schedules and ensure tasks are completed on time and according to project specifications.
• Assist in the quality control process, ensuring all work meets the highest construction standards.
• Track and document project progress, including daily reports, material deliveries, and subcontractor work completion.
• Participate in job site meetings and ensure effective communication among all project stakeholders.
• Assist in managing project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
• Monitor site logistics, manage material and equipment inventories, and help ensure the site is properly stocked and organized.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues as they arise, working closely with the project management team.

Profile

Assistant Superintendent - High-End Multifamily- Bolton, MA - Will have

• 1-3 years of experience in construction, ideally in a superintendent or assistant superintendent role (experience with multifamily construction is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schedules, and technical drawings.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and the internal team.
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore is a plus).
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and safety.
• Must be located in or near Bolton, MA or Warwick, MA, or willing to commute to the area.
