Tooling - Manufacturing Engineer - Bloomfield, CT
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and quality across a wide range of products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and meet production goals while maintaining high standards of precision and reliability.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and implement new processes and specifications through research
- Work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
- Investigate non-conformances and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Manage projects and changes, including assessments of repair and upgrade tools
- Create clear documentation for machining and special process plans
- Analyze customer drawings and specs to define manufacturing methods and sequences
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude and experience with shop floor tasks
- Strong foundation in math, including geometry and trigonometry
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software, preferably Mastercam
- Solid understanding of manufacturing specs, including machining, welding, NDT, and more
- Skilled at reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field, plus 3+ years in a machining environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools for daily tasks
