The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and quality across a wide range of products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and meet production goals while maintaining high standards of precision and reliability.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and implement new processes and specifications through research
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
• Investigate non-conformances and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Manage projects and changes, including assessments of repair and upgrade tools
• Create clear documentation for machining and special process plans
• Analyze customer drawings and specs to define manufacturing methods and sequences
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and experience with shop floor tasks
• Strong foundation in math, including geometry and trigonometry
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software, preferably Mastercam
• Solid understanding of manufacturing specs, including machining, welding, NDT, and more
• Skilled at reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T
• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field, plus 3+ years in a machining environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools for daily tasks
