Construction Superintendent- K-12 Projects
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee K-12 school construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring project completion on time and within budget, and maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. The superintendent will act as the primary on-site point of contact for subcontractors, project managers, and school district officials.

My client is a Seattle based General Contractor building a variety of multifamily and commercial projects around Greater Seattle. Due to an increase in Public Works projects, my client are looking to hire an experience K-12 Superintendent.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage the entire construction process for K-12 school projects, from ground-breaking to final closeout.
- Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to meet key milestones and deadlines.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all safety regulations are met and that the site complies with local, state, and federal construction standards.
- Quality Control: Oversee the quality of work being performed by subcontractors to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and standards.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with project managers, school officials, and stakeholders to provide updates on progress and any issues.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any challenges that arise during the construction process, including delays, material shortages, or site issues.
Profile
- Proven experience in managing K-12 construction projects or similar institutional projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and project scheduling tools.
Job Offer
