Description

The Superintendent - Retail/Auto Dealerships - Vienna, VA will be responsible for:

• Overseeing daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects across various sectors.
• Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitoring project schedules and making field adjustments as necessary to maintain progress.Enforcing jobsite safety protocols and maintaining compliance with all OSHA standards.
• Ensuring construction quality meets or exceeds company and client standards.
• Leading daily coordination meetings and reporting progress to Project Managers and stakeholders.
• Managing materials deliveries, inspections, and jobsite logistics.
• Supporting project closeout and ensuring a smooth handoff to clients.

Profile

The Superintendent - Retail/Auto Dealerships - Vienna, VA will have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a field supervisory role, preferably with a general contractor.
• Proven experience overseeing construction projects in one or more of the following sectors: interiors, multifamily, healthcare, or industrial.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety standards, and jobsite management.
• Proficiency with field management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain accountability on active jobsites.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
