Client Details
Our client is one of the most reputable life sciences construction management firms in the nation. They specialize in life sciences and food/beverage construction projects in the RTP area.
They are seeking a Project Manager for a $100M life sciences project being delivered for a reputable life sciences client. They are looking for a PM with experience doing EPC/EPCM delivery, and experience managing large scale life sciences projects $75M+. Looking for someone strong on the structural side and not just pushing paper.
They are a privately held company that has been around for 40+ years - people want to be there and join them because they care about the work they are performing. It's complex and challenging, but meaningful and impactful! This is an excellent opportunity to join a great, mid-size company - big enough to take on large scale projects and can do it all in house, but small enough that you know everyone!

Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly schedule to support and preserve the Contract Project Schedule
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required
- Dictate or prepare project reports for management, client, or others
- Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
- Take part and assist with the pre-planning and conceptual phase
- Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders and maintain them moving forward
- Work with subcontractors - create and maintain positive relationships
- Assist in developing and maintaining the project schedule
Profile
The successful Project Manager will have the following experience:
- 10+ years of Project Manager experience
- Experience working on large-scale, life sciences/pharmaceutical projects $75M+ is required
- Experience with EPC/EPCM delivery is required
- Must have ran a large life sciences project as the lead from start to finish
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree
- Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred
- Developed thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project success
- Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors
- Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level
- Local to Raleigh preferred, though relocators will be considered
Job Offer
The successful Project Manager will receive:
- Base salary contingent on experience, ranging roughly $120,000-$190,000
- Discretionary bonuses
