Description

The Construction Superintendent - $20M Multifamily Projects - Holyoke MA is responsible for:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to maintain efficient workflows and project progress.
  • Monitor project plans, specifications, and timelines, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, quality standards, and local building codes.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to align on expectations and resolve any challenges.
  • Prepare daily reports and updates to track progress and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Lead the project team in troubleshooting and solving on-site challenges to maintain project momentum.

Profile

The right candidate will have:

  • Commercial Construction Superintendent experience with a GC (5+ years)
  • Experience building ground-up/renovation multifamily & commercial projects valued at $10M+
  • Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Familiarity with construction/project management
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
  • CPR/First Aid Certified
  • 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification
  • 30-Hour OSHA (preferred)
  • MA CSL
