Accounts Receivable Clerk
Our client, a premier HVAC manufacturing company based in Bedford Park, Chicago, is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable/Cash Application Clerk. This is a temp role, and the successful candidate will be immediately available to start a new role.
Client Details
Premier HVAC manufacturing company based in Bedford Park, Chicago. This role is 5 days per week in office, and offers someone with prior cash application & accounts receivable experience, a chance to work on a collaborative team for a short-term project.
Description
This role will involve:
- Review, validate and resolve aged AR balances to ensure proper billing and resolution
- Apply customer payments (checks, ACH, and miscellaneous receipts) accurately and efficiently
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in customer accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and system-related issues
- Support AR cleanup efforts across multiple service lines
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong, hands-on experience in accounts receivable and cash applications is essential
- Ability to quickly pick up new systems and processes
- Experience working with custom or niche ERP systems is a plus
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive in problem-solving
