VP Program Manager

This is a Program Manager role heavily focused on data operations and execution. Must understand data architecture, data platforms, how data is acquired, distributed, and managed end to end. Strong working knowledge of data platforms and cloud environments is critical. Contract located in Atlanta, GA. Onsite 4x a week and W2 only!

Description

* Deep expertise in the investment management domain and various data products like ESG, Post Trade KPI, Analytics, Risk analytics and models etc

* Expertise in the data management space - data acquisition, ingestion, transformation, distribution, consumption and data governance

* Manage large, complex, multi-year projects/programs to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, and quality

* Coordinate the development of product definition and roadmaps in partnership w the product management team

* Structure and manage integrated projects and programs to achieve expected business results

* Manage the product increment lifecycle and associated ceremonies

* Manage relationships with senior leadership team and communicate status and issues regularly

* Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria

* Manage interactions with various data engineering and product teams

* Mobilize and manage a team to execute against project plans

* Lead business and technical design phases

* Lead teams with multiple discipline representation (especially technology, user experience, and product)

* Familiarity with Agile and Iterative Development

Profile

* Strong background in cloud and data platforms.

* Hands-on experience in building, driving, and supporting data platform initiatives.

* Could have held titles such as Program Manager, BI/Data Architect, or similar.

* Deep experience in Financial Services (maybe open to Big 4) preferred FS due to the fast-paced, complex environment.
