Superintendent II - Knoxville, TN
Knoxville based General Contractor established for more than 30 years is searching for a Superintendent to join their team. They are a leader in the Hospitality, Municipal, and Entertainment market with a track record of excellent clients and a strong pipeline of mixed commercial work.

A highly reputable, local, general contractor that focuses on the development of its employees, career growth, leadership opportunities.
This general contractor has a growing portfolio and is excited to bring on a few additional people to the team including a Superintendent with at least 5-10+ years of experience in ground up commercial projects.
Description
- Run/manage project from start to finish
- Communicate well with owners as well as subcontractors, be the face of the organization
- Oversee Subcontractors and full construction project on a daily bases
- Coordinate subcontractors, architects, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve any problems with materials or methods.
- Establish and maintain an effective and professional on-site working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other parties related to the project.
- Enforce a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project.
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry on complex projects, AND,
- Minimum 3 years of direct supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of a wide range of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
- Must be capable of reading and comprehending blueprints and specifications for institutional, commercial and industrial projects.
- Ability to develop Relationships with key stakeholder, such as owners, subcontractors, project managers, field employees
- Solid understanding of project cost analysis.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, Email and other software used in the construction industry.
- Ability to travel and work in remote locations.
