Assistant Project Manager - Quickly Growing Milwaukee GC
My client is a rapidly growing GC that already has an outstanding market reputation. They are looking for an ambitious APM to join them on a $70M multifamily project in Milwaukee. Description
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Help prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Monitor project progress and identify any potential delays or risks to mitigate them.
- Assist in procuring materials, equipment, and subcontractor services required for the project.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, including tracking expenses and preparing budget reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on the construction site.
- Communicate project updates and concerns to stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned.
Profile
- 1+ years of commercial construction experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to grow to a Project Manager role
- On-site experience preferred
- Passion for construction!
