Description
Manage the onsite execution of drywall and framing scopes on large commercial construction projects.
Lead daily coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
Enforce strict safety compliance and conduct regular site inspections.
Drive project schedules, identify potential delays, and proactively solve field challenges.
Ensure top-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for drywall-related trades.
Track materials, manpower, and logistics to keep projects on schedule and under budget.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and trade partners across multiple locations.
Profile
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a focus on commercial drywall and interiors, ideally with a national contractor or subcontractor. You should have a deep understanding of construction sequencing, layout, and coordination-especially as it relates to drywall systems (metal framing, hanging, taping, fire-rated assemblies, etc.). Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. You must be willing and able to travel regularly, possess a high level of professionalism, and be comfortable managing crews on tight timelines. OSHA 30 certification and proficiency with field software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) are a plus.
