Trade Finance Consultant
This role involves managing trade finance transactions, including letters of credit and reimbursements, while ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely communication with clients. It also requires close coordination with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies, maintain documentation, and support smooth transaction processing.

Description
- Manage and process trade finance transactions, including letters of credit and reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal protocols.
- Collaborate with senior team members and clients to clarify transaction details and reduce the risk of processing errors.
- Provide timely guidance and updates to clients on amendments and regulatory compliance related to trade documentation.
- Act as a liaison between internal operations teams and external stakeholders to support smooth transaction execution and issue resolution.
- Maintain organized records of all correspondence and documentation to support audit readiness and operational efficiency.
- Support digital and manual processing tasks such as scanning and logging incoming trade documents to ensure timely workflow integration.
Profile
- Prior experience in trade finance operations, particularly with letters of credit, reimbursements, and loan-related documentation.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance standards, with the ability to interpret and apply them in transactional contexts.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and clarify transaction details.
- Familiarity with document handling processes, including scanning, recordkeeping, and correspondence management in a financial services environment.
- Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional setting with exposure to offshore operations or centralized processing teams.
