Director, Penetration Testing

Description

• Lead penetration testing efforts to identify vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and networks.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive penetration testing strategy tailored to meet organizational needs.
• Analyze and document findings, providing actionable recommendations to address security risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security protocols and controls.
• Keep abreast of the latest security threats, tools, and methodologies to ensure up-to-date testing strategies.
• Oversee third-party penetration testing engagements and validate results.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on security best practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards within the financial services domain.

Profile

A successful Director, Penetration Testing should have:

• Strong expertise in penetration testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Proficiency in identifying, analyzing, and addressing security vulnerabilities.
• Experience working within the financial services industry or similar regulated environments.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
• Ability to lead and manage projects with cross-functional teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and providing recommendations.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CISSP are preferred but not required.
