A Project Manager for multifamily apartments oversees the planning, budgeting, and execution of apartment construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. They manage teams, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and building codes while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.

Client Details

Our Client is a ENR rated General contractor who has been around for over 80 years. The specialise in multiple types of projects and is seeking out a project manager professional with multifamily experience. We pride ourself on quality work and retention of clients.

Description

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multifamily apartment projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project flow and effective communication.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and mitigate financial risks while ensuring the project remains within budget.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory compliance throughout the construction process.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing as scheduled and to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, addressing any concerns and proposing solutions as necessary.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively addressing challenges that may impact project delivery.

Profile

  • Proven experience managing multifamily construction projects from inception to completion, with a strong track record of delivering on time and within budget.
  • Degree in a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of effectively managing teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and project management software.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks, solving problems efficiently to keep projects on track.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing project budgets, cost control, and reporting.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage competing deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a focus on fostering positive relationships with all parties involved in the project.
