Client Details
Our client is a highly reputable General Contractor, established in the 2000s, with a strong presence across Newark, NYC, and surrounding boroughs. - Residential Estimating: Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for luxury residential and high-rise multifamily projects ($20M+)
- Team Leadership: Support bid preparation, including subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and proposal compilation
- Quality Control: Collaborate closely with senior estimators and project teams to refine pricing strategies and ensure accuracy
- Software: Utilize estimating software (e.g., BuildingConnected, Procore, or equivalent tools) to manage bid processes
- Compliance: Analyze project risks, cost drivers, and value engineering opportunities
- Documentation: Maintain organized cost databases and project documentation
Profile
- 2-6+ years of construction estimating experience, ideally within luxury residential or high-rise multifamily projects
- Exposure to projects valued at $20M+ strongly preferred
- For junior candidates: foundational estimating experience with strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn
- For mid-level candidates: proficiency with BuildingConnected and Procore is required
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, materials, and methods
- Tech-savvy with experience using estimating tools/databases
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
