Compliance Audit Consutlant

This is a 6-month contract with the potential for long-term engagement. The contractor will be responsible for conducting assigned audits, completing and reviewing audit workpapers, focusing on the AML, Business, and Operations audit areas, and ensuring the successful delivery of all internal audits.

Description

• Conduct assigned audits by implementing approved audit programs and questionnaires.

• Complete and review audit workpapers for planning and fieldwork to ensure adequacy.

• Offer subject matter expertise to support the execution of other audits (AML, business, operations, technology) that may involve sanctions, AML, or regulatory compliance risks.

• Ensure audit findings and internal audit feedback are delivered in a complete, insightful, timely, accurate, and concise manner.

Profile

The successful candidate for this role is:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher is *required*
• Over 2 years of experience in financial services, including exposure to commercial banking
• Prior internal audit experience with a focus on AML/Sanctions
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Capable of presenting complex and sensitive information to senior management
