Learning & Development Coordinator - 3 days NYC - $65k-$75k
The Learning & Development / Professional Development Coordinator will support the firm's attorney development programs, including training initiatives, performance evaluations, mentorship programs, and professional growth opportunities. This role is highly visible and offers room for advancement as the firm continues to expand.
This position is located in NYC 3 days a week in office. $65k-$75k + bonus and great benefits!

Description
- Assist in planning and executing professional development programs, including attorney training, mentorship initiatives, and leadership development.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, materials preparation, and liaising with internal and external presenters.
- Support the associate evaluation process, gathering feedback and helping with performance summaries.
- Track attorney work allocation and hours to ensure fair workload distribution.
- Assist with coaching and development plans for attorneys, partnering closely with leadership.
- Maintain databases and track participation in professional development programs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance learning initiatives and improve program effectiveness.
- Stay informed on best practices in legal professional development to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Profile
- 1+ years of experience in a professional development, HR, or talent role-law firm experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact effectively with attorneys and firm leadership.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS), performance tracking tools, or SharePoint a plus.
