Aerospace - Process Engineer - Springfield, MA
The Process Engineer plays a critical role in designing, optimizing, and implementing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves supporting shop floor operations, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvements. At higher levels, the Process Engineer also engages directly with customers, manages projects, and provides training to develop the skills of team members. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are key to success in this position.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Create and optimize manufacturing processes, including shop routers and bills of materials.
- Analyze process data, troubleshoot in-process issues, and develop best practices.
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain organized, clean work areas following 6S principles.
- Support customer engagement and provide training to new and existing employees (Master level).
- Manage projects and implement supply process improvements (Master level).
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum high school diploma; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Experience with aerospace manufacturing standards, CAD/CAM (NX preferred), and GD&T.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and data analysis to solve problems effectively.
- Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and train others (Master level).
