Project Manager | Higher Education
Our ENR rated premier contractor is looking for a Higher Education Project Manager to run their upcoming projects in SE Michigan. This well organized professional go-getter has the opportunity to be a mentor to PE's, APM's & other project managers

Client Details
Founded : 1998
Industry : Self-perform trades include Steel, Civil, Concrete, Interiors
Locations Served : Almost all work is local to S/E MI but occasionally have projects throughout the Midwest in locations like OH, IN, and TN.
Design Build : 50% of GC work is design build.
Description
- Manage multiple projects at any time. Has to be able to get into the weeds and looks at things from a higher level.
- Financial and change management part of project
- Run Higher Education Projects ($50K to $3/4M)
- Run 3-4 different projects at various different phases of completion
- Bid some exterior upgrades for facade work
- Personality wise : they have to have thick skin, have difficult conversations, talk about money, be attentive.
- Teamwork is very important : support each other and be thought partners
Profile
- College Degree
- Construction Management experience is preferred
- Estimating experience
- Experience at a General Contractor
- Software (not required): Viewpoint team, Vista, Microsoft project, & P6.
Job Offer
- Base salary : $130,000-$150,000
- Full benefits package including - 401K Match, Unlimited PTO, Car allowance, healthcare
