Ground-Up General Construction Project Manager - New Jersey
Currently seeking a seasoned Project Manager with hands-on experience managing ground-up general construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing all phases of the build while ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule targets are met.

Description
Project Management: Lead all phases of ground-up construction projects ranging from $5M-$50M+ in value
Team Leadership: Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors from pre-construction through final turnover
Quality Control: Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and logistics plans
Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and building codes on-site
Budget Oversight: Oversee procurement, subcontractor buyouts, and contract administration
Schedule Management: Track project progress, resolve issues proactively, and report regularly to senior leadership
Profile
7-10+ years of experience in general construction with a focus on ground-up commercial or mixed-use projects
Proven success managing projects from start to finish with full accountability for cost, quality, and schedule
Deep understanding of construction methods, contract administration, and safety compliance
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
