Engineering Manager - Automotive - Derry, NH
My client is seeking an experienced engineering leader to support manufacturing operations through process optimization, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position works closely with production leadership and engineering teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance operational performance across manufacturing facilities.

My client is a well-established manufacturer within the automotive sector, specializing in large-scale remanufacturing operations with multiple facilities across North America. The organization is recognized for its commitment to quality, operational excellence, and Lean manufacturing principles.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support daily manufacturing operations.
- Develop SOPs, process documentation, and technical work instructions.
- Optimize equipment performance, maintenance practices, and manufacturing systems.
- Support troubleshooting and process problem-solving within production environments.
- Train and support teams on new processes, equipment, and operational improvements.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of process engineering experience within manufacturing environments.
- Prior leadership or engineering management experience required.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Experience with controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and CNC operations preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Automotive industry experience and bilingual Spanish skills are advantageous.
