Assistant Project Manager
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Manager in coordinating and managing all aspects of high-end residential construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role requires strong organizational skills, construction knowledge, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.

This Miami based contractor is a premier construction and development firm specializing in high-end residential projects. With a portfolio that includes custom homes, estate renovations, and ground-up luxury builds, they pride themselves on craftsmanship, detail, and service excellence. They are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Construction Project Manager to support their project team.
Description
Assist in managing day-to-day operations of luxury residential construction projects.
Support scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination under the guidance of the Project Manager.
Maintain and update project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
Monitor construction progress and help ensure adherence to design, budget, and timeline.
Coordinate with vendors and trades to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
Assist with quality control by conducting site inspections and reporting deficiencies.
Help manage project punch lists and close-out documentation.
Communicate regularly with architects, designers, and homeowners to support a smooth building process.
Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in construction project coordination or management, preferably in high-end or luxury residential work.
Knowledge of residential building methods, materials, and codes.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Professional demeanor and commitment to client service and excellence.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
