Financial Crimes Software Implementation Consultant

Our client, focusing on Corporate and Investment Banking Services for multinational clients, is seeking a Financial Crimes Implementation Consultant to support the replacement and implementation of its Transaction Monitoring (TM) and OFAC Screening system. This is a long-term contract role through December 2026, offering a hybrid schedule based in Midtown New York City.

Description

  • Lead and support the development, configuration, and testing of a new Transaction Monitoring/OFAC Sanctions screening platform.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Technology, and Financial Crimes teams to ensure the tool meets regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Provide hands-on expertise during each phase of the implementation: requirements gathering, system design, testing (UAT), and go-live.
  • Participate in project meetings, status reporting, and vendor coordination.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues during system integration and testing.
  • Ensure successful migration from legacy systems with minimal business disruption.

Profile

  • Strong experience implementing a Transaction Monitoring (TM) and/or OFAC screening system - experience with any software platform is acceptable.
  • Proven ability to work in a small team on long-term implementation projects.
  • Practical knowledge of financial crimes compliance and related screening processes.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
