Project Manager - Dallas K-12 Construction

We are looking for an experienced K-12 and municipal Construction Project Manager with a highlighted focus on K-12 and/or municipal projects to join their team in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A Project Manager with strong tenure would be a great fit for this team to compliment their low turnover rates and dedication to employee & client satisfaction.

Description

The successful Project Manager will:

  • Lead project management efforts while coordinating with client, architects, and engineers
  • Assist in potential business development meetings and proposals
  • Lead from the front to maintain their positive office culture
  • Creates and reviews project schedules
  • Partner with client from preconstruction phase through closeout
  • Develops relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
  • Handle forecasting and estimating costs while making changes to costs for project completion
  • Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to on the job site

Profile

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with a general contractor
  • Bachelor's degree in construction field preferred
  • Experience leading and assisting on K-12, and/or municipal construction projects
  • Positive attitude & able to effectively communicate
  • Success driven
  • Exemplifies good leadership qualities and characteristics
  • Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, materials, and local subcontractors
  • Previous mentorship experience is a strong plus
