My client specializes in complex, large-scale projects across multiple sectors, including educational institutions, local government, multifamily, retail, interiors, warehouse, and more. They are just under 100 people and promote a culture of autonomy, respect, positivey, and progressive thinking.

Client Details

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in commercial construction projects, primarily within the Base Build, Design/Build,education,and multifamily.

Description

• Assist Project Manager in execution of management plan for assigned project
• Help coordinate and manage project from inception to completion
• Review project designs and contribute ideas for cutting costs
• Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner
• Track and directly report project status updates to project manager
• Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents
• Punch Lists for close out of projects

Profile

• 2-5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer with a commercial General Contractor
• Someone who can truly support a PM and wants to grow into a PM
• Ability to stand on their own and be self supportive
• Desire to learn and grow
• Experience running OAC meetings, developing price estimates, developing change orders, project close out financial is highly preferred
• Procore experience required
