Description

• Direct and Manage: Oversee all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors, self-perform labor, and material deliveries.
• Safety and Quality Control: Implement and enforce rigorous site safety programs and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) protocols.
• Scheduling: Develop, update, and manage the project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager to ensure timely completion.
• Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the design team, Project Manager, owners, and all field personnel.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and documentation related to site conditions, inspections, and issues.
• Mentorship: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior field staff and contribute to the company's continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Superintendent on $5M - $50M commercial construction projects (e.g., office, light industrial, healthcare, retail).
• Demonstrated expertise in site logistics, managing complex schedules (CPM), and trade coordination.
• Strong knowledge of all construction trades, building codes, and safety regulations (OSHA 30 certification required).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
• A stable career history reflecting the ability to manage projects independently and successfully.
