Letters of Credit Specialist
This role involves processing and tracking invoices, maintaining up to date files for letters of credit, and coordinating with various internal teams to ensure compliance and timely updates. Future responsibilities include assisting clients with technical aspects of letters of credit and ensuring transactions conform to relevant regulations and procedures.

Description
- Process and track daily invoices from corresponding banks and branches, ensuring timely updates and accurate records.
- Maintain comprehensive files for letters of credit, including all necessary documentation and compliance checklists.
- Coordinate with internal teams to report overdue items and provide daily updates to overseas branches and corresponding banks.
- Assist clients and corporate groups with technical aspects and best practices related to letters of credit.
- Prepare and execute required documents for letters of credit transactions, ensuring conformity with client instructions and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and resolve pending inquiries and discrepancies, ensuring timely disbursement of funds and accurate transaction recording.
Profile
- Experience: Proven track record in handling letters of credit and related financial transactions, preferably within a corporate banking environment.
- System Knowledge: Proficiency in using financial transaction systems such as ACBS, and familiarity with document preparation tools like Microsoft Word and Tiger.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of UCP Publication 600/ISP98 standards and compliance procedures related to letters of credit.
- Analytical Abilities: Demonstrated ability to monitor and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Background: Solid foundation in finance or accounting, with excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and clients.
