- Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs, cost estimates, bid proposals, and pricing breakdowns for commercial retail interior projects.
- Review drawings, specs, and subcontractor proposals to ensure accuracy, scope coverage, and competitive pricing.
- Conduct subcontractor outreach, scope reviews, and cost analyses for interiors‑focused trades.
- Work with the project team on budgeting, value engineering, and preconstruction planning.
- Maintain updated knowledge of materials, finishes, millwork, fixtures, and retail interiors market pricing.
- Support bid strategy, presentations, and project handoff once awarded.

Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
- Experience estimating commercial interiors or retail construction projects (NYC/Brooklyn experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of finishes, millwork, fixtures, MEP coordination, and interior buildout sequencing.
- Detail‑oriented, analytical, and organized, with excellent follow‑through.
- Clear communicator who builds strong relationships with subcontractors and internal teams.
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a growing retail‑focused GC.
