The Construction Estimator - Ground Up Higher-Ed Projects - Boston MA will be responsible for:

  • Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for projects in markets such as healthcare, education, historic renovation, municipal, commercial, and residential.
  • Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify scope and requirements.
  • Meet with clients and project stakeholders to understand expectations and build strong relationships.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to gather competitive pricing.
  • Support the preconstruction team in evaluating project risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction costs, methods, and industry trends.

Profile

The Construction Estimator will possess:

  • 5+ years experience
  • Proven ability to work independently and own the estimating process.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and team members effectively.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Offer

Job Requirements:

The Construction Lead Estimator will be responsible for:

Reporting directly to the Director of Estimating
Working hand-in-hand with the Project Management team
Generating conceptual, schematic, lump sum, GMP, design development, and other types of estimates
Creating and maintaining strong relationships with repeat/potential clients
Attend meetings and contribute to presentations
