Client Details

Client has a diverse multi-family construction portfolio providing general contractor services throughout the Central Texas area. Projects include: Garden Style, Podiums, Wraps, and Senior Living.

Description

• Digital start up: excel, procore, smartbid
• Review and send out bid documents to our network of subcontractors
• Solicit bids and proposals - review for completeness, coverage, and scope
• Follow up with subcontractors to ensure bid deadlines are met
• Document organization - track addendums and ensure the latest files are in Procore
• Notify subcontractors of any bid changes
• Coordinate with internal team for specific bid needs
• Submit preliminary RFI's from subcontractors or plan discrepancies to the assigned preconstruction manager
• Source new subcontractors and obtain backup documents including financials and a reference list

Profile

• Construction experience in Multi-family construction required: Hi Rise, Garden Style, Podiums, Wrap
• Prove consistent work history
• 1+ years of experience working in the construction industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong mathematical and computer aptitude is also necessary.
• Ability to craft well written emails free of spelling or grammatical errors
• Bachelor Degree is highly preferred
• Moderate to high level of proficiency operating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Project
• Experience with Procore
• Strong communication skills
• Strong quick thinking decision making skills
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
• Well-rounded base of knowledge in construction disciplines
• Knowledge of the local construction environment is desired
