Our client is a global chemical manufacturing organization known for its commitment to safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance. They are seeking a Product Stewardship Advisor to support the safe management of products throughout their entire lifecycle - from development and production to distribution and end use. The Product Stewardship Advisor will serve as the subject matter expert for product compliance, safety, and regulatory initiatives. This role ensures that products meet all applicable global, federal, and local regulations and supports the company's commitment to environmental responsibility and customer safety. Description
The Product Stewardship Advisor - Chemical Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:
- Manage product stewardship activities to ensure compliance with REACH, TSCA, GHS, CLP, and other global chemical regulations.
- Review and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with R&D, EHS, Quality, and Regulatory teams to assess new products and raw materials for compliance and safety.
- Support product registration, notification, and reporting obligations across global markets.
- Advise internal stakeholders on chemical hazard classification, risk assessment, and exposure controls.
- Maintain accurate product regulatory data within internal systems and databases.
- Partner with customers and suppliers to address product-related safety and compliance inquiries.
- Stay current with evolving global regulatory trends and communicate potential business impacts to leadership.
- Support sustainability and product lifecycle initiatives aligned with corporate ESG goals.

Profile
The Ideal Product Stewardship Advisor- Chemical Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product stewardship, chemical regulatory compliance, or EHS within a manufacturing or chemical environment.
- Strong knowledge of global chemical regulations (TSCA, REACH, GHS, FIFRA, etc.).
- Experience authoring and maintaining SDS and product labels.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Experience with product stewardship software or regulatory databases (e.g., Sphera, Verisk 3E, ChemADVISOR) preferred.
