Treasury Financial Modeling Consultant
This role involves financial modeling for stress tests, cash flow projections, and liquidity buffer assessments, focusing on Treasury Products like unsecure funding and securities lending. It requires a deep understanding of financial regulations and proficiency in Excel, VBA, and related modeling tools.

The client is a commercial bank that started in Japan. They are the third largest bank in Japan and offer services such as investment banking, global markets, and sales and trading.
Description
- Develop and maintain financial models for internal liquidity stress tests, capital stress tests, and liquidity buffer assessments.
- Analyze and project cash flows across various Treasury Products, including unsecured funding, money market funds, and securities lending/borrowing
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of regulatory submissions related to liquidity and capital requirement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial models into broader risk management frameworks
- Utilize Excel-based tools, including VBA, to automate and enhance financial modeling and stress testing methodologies
Profile
- 5-10 years of Treasury Finance experience
- Bachelors Degree required
- CFA or MBA a Plus
- Ability to go into office 2-3 days a week a MUST
- Strong background of Financial Modeling at another Financial Institution
- Strong Knowledge of Treasury Products such as Unsecured Funding, Money Market Funds, Secured Financing, Securities Lending/Borrowing)
- Experience with Excel and VBA
