Construction Estimator
A General Contracting firm is currently seeking a full-time Construction Estimator. The Construction Estimator is responsible for conceptualizing and interpreting the scope of work from both incomplete or schematic documents and complete detailed documents as well as working closely with other Preconstruction team members to assist with the successful delivery of design phase services.

Our Client is a General Contracting firm specializing in commercial interior renovations.
Description
- The Construction Estimator in Manhattan will provide conceptual and detailed estimates of commercial interiors projects ranging from $10M to $100M.
- Assist the Chief Estimator in preparing comprehensive conceptual estimates.
- Oversee projects for municipal agencies and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct quantitative takeoffs and provide accurate pricing to support Lump Sum proposals.
- Manage and coordinate project documents across various delivery methods.
- Research and present up-to-date unit pricing data.
- Prepare detailed clarifications and qualifications to accompany estimates.
- Provide thorough backup documentation for estimate reviews and analyses.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- 5-10 years of professional experience in construction estimating.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively.
