Job Requirements of Superintendent - Interiors:
The Superintendent - Interiors is responsible for overseeing all field operations for interior construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.This role requires a hands-on leader who excels in coordinating trades, maintaining workflow, and upholding safety and quality expectations across all phases of interior build‑outs.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Superintendent overseeing commercial interior construction projects such as tenant improvements, office build‑outs, corporate interiors, or mixed commercial interiors.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, interior systems, finish sequencing, and building codes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, specifications, and schedules.
Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
Excellent understanding of jobsite safety practices, including enforcing company and OSHA safety standards.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily field operations, track materials, coordinate inspections, and foresee potential issues before they impact the project.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with project managers, clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and field personnel.
Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, or similar software is preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve challenges quickly while maintaining project momentum and quality.
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to job sites within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
