Public Construction Assistant Project Manager - Manhattan, NY
As an Assistant Project Manager in Manhattan, you'll support the delivery of high-profile public construction or development projects in a dynamic, fast-paced urban environment. You'll work closely with senior project managers and clients to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
Client Details
The client is a well-established general contractor with a portfolio of public and commercial projects.
Description
Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation on public projects
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
Monitor site progress, perform quality checks, and ensure safety compliance
Prepare reports, track deliverables, and support procurement and subcontractor management
Profile
The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience in public construction or project management, a degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
