Description

The Product Development Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and validate new automotive components and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure seamless product development.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new designs and materials.
• Drive continuous improvement in product design, focusing on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and manufacturability.
• Support Sales and New Product Groups on new business opportunities.

Profile

• Bachelors or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of automotive design standards, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing process simulation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong project management and communication abilities.
