They have a constant pipeline of projects with more forecasted, looking to hire as soon as possible!
$60 Million Annual Revenue.
Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Establishing the project control plan - Control the rate of production and quality on all projects, their associated cost and expected receipts
- Establishing base line and monitoring construction schedules - Insure construction schedules are adhered and deadlines met
- Securing building permits, licenses and occupancy certificates
- Monitoring/controling construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure building the project on schedule and within budget
- Investigating potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
- Managing financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client and Architect
- Reviewing job cost reports and maintain accurate and timely indicated cost reporting
- Coordinating meetings with Owner's representatives, Architects/Engineers for obtaining approvals to jointly discuss procedures, progress, problems and scheduling
- Assisting in preparation of bid day information
- Authoring and issuing meeting minutes promptly
- Scheduling and assist in progress meetings with Trade Contractors and Construction Superintendents
- Securing scheduling for equipment, material, shop drawing submittals and deliveries
- Assuming additional responsibilities or special projects as needed
Profile
The successful candidate has:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction Technology, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- General Contractor experience
- Project background in Government Contracting
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects
- Strong literacy of MS Word and Excel
- Working understanding of Timberline/Sage software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
