Senior Preconstruction Manager
As the Senior Preconstruction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping project success from concept through contract award. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure budgets, schedules, and project scopes align with client expectations. Your expertise will directly impact the company's ability to secure and execute large-scale commercial projects ranging from $50M to $200M.

Our client, a leading national General Contractor with a reputation for excellence, is seeking an experienced Senior Preconstruction Manager to join their growing commercial construction team. With a portfolio spanning commercial, industrial, and multifamily projects, this firm is committed to delivering high-quality results and fostering a collaborative, innovative work environment.
Description
- Lead preconstruction efforts for multiple commercial projects, including budgeting, estimating, and scheduling.
- Develop and manage cost models, value engineering opportunities, and risk analysis to optimize project outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients and design teams to refine project scopes and deliverables.
- Oversee the bid process, including subcontractor prequalification, solicitation, and scope review.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless transitions from preconstruction to construction phases.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior preconstruction team members.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Experience in preconstruction, estimating, or a related role with a commercial General Contractor.
- Proven track record of managing preconstruction efforts on projects $50M+.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost structures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in estimating and project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools).
