Compensation Analyst
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team. The Compensation Analyst will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing competitive and cost-effective compensation strategies to attract, retain, and motivate employees.

Description

Compensation Analysis:
- Conduct regular market research and compensation surveys to benchmark salaries and benefits against industry standards and competitor practices.
- Analyze internal compensation data to assess equity, competitiveness, and alignment with organizational structures.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership regarding salary ranges, bonuses, and other compensation-related policies.

Salary Structure Management:
- Assist in developing and maintaining salary structures that reflect the company's goals, budget, and competitive positioning.
- Support the creation of compensation plans for employees at all levels, ensuring alignment with compensation strategy and market conditions.

Job Evaluation and Classification:
- Conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate classification and pay grades, ensuring that roles are aligned with organizational hierarchy and compensation structure.
- Review and update job descriptions and job families as necessary to maintain clarity and consistency.

Compensation Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate regular compensation reports and metrics (e.g., cost of labor, turnover analysis) to monitor trends, assess the impact of compensation programs, and support decision-making.
- Provide insight into compensation costs, trends, and competitive benchmarking, contributing to budget planning.

Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure compensation programs comply with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as industry-specific regulations (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay Act).
- Monitor changes in labor laws and compensation-related legislation, ensuring the organization remains compliant.
Profile
- 3 years of experience in compensation analysis, human resources, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of compensation trends, salary structures, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with compensation tools and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret data and develop insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
