Manufacturing Process Engineer - Defense - Newington, NH
This Manufacturing Engineer role supports the setup, qualification, and ongoing improvement of molding-based production processes within a precision, high‑reliability manufacturing environment.
The position combines hands‑on engineering, documentation, equipment troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for supporting and improving molding processes across a complex and technically demanding production environment. This role includes designing and implementing molding systems, developing documentation, assisting with equipment installation, analyzing workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain documentation for molding equipment, tooling, and processes.
- Evaluate workflows, implement improvements, and support cost‑saving and quality initiatives.
- Collaborate across departments to support equipment installation, troubleshooting, and design update.
Profile
The ideal candidate is a technically strong, hands‑on engineer with direct experience in molding technologies such as encapsulation molding, transfer molding, compression molding, or potting. They excel at troubleshooting, communicating complex ideas, and working within multidisciplinary teams to support productivity, quality, and process reliability.
Key Qualifications:
- B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience designing or supporting molds and molding systems.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, Lean/6 Sigma knowledge, and adaptability.
