Healthcare Construction Superintendent (Interiors) NYC

The Healthcare Interiors Superintendent will oversee all on-site field operations for hospital and clinical construction projects. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with strict healthcare construction standards.

Description

• Oversee daily field operations for healthcare interior renovations and fit-outs
• Manage projects in active hospital environments with strict phasing requirements
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and vendors across all project phases
• Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules and drive project milestones
• Monitor progress, budget impacts, and field productivity
• Review RFIs, submittals, and construction documents daily
• Lead coordination meetings with trades, consultants, and hospital staff
• Ensure all work complies with healthcare codes, safety, and regulatory standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites in patient-sensitive environments
• Support project closeout, punch list completion, and system turnover
