About the Role:
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join a leading civil construction team in Clifton, NJ. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in site work, infrastructure, and environmental projects. You will play a key role in supporting project delivery from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring compliance with specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing estimates, bid packages, and purchase orders
- Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain schedules
- Perform quality control checks and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Conduct on-site inspections and layout work using surveying equipment
- Support project documentation and reporting requirements

Profile
A successful Project Engineer should have:
