High End Residential Construction - Project Manager
Builder/developer, based in Boston, is looking for a high-end residential Project Manager to help them during their growth phase!
This role will have a built-in career path to a Sr. Leadership role if the individual desires.
In business over 20 years, they specialize in multifamily & single family luxury residential projects typically $2M-4M in value (renovations and new construction) in Boston

Client Details
Residential builder/developer, based in Boston, is looking for a high-end residential Project Manager to help them during their growth phase!
This role will have a built-in career path to a Sr. Leadership role if the individual desires.
In business over 20 years, they specialize in both multifamily & single family luxury residential projects in the city
They do anything from buying a home, tearing it down, and building a new multifamily building to single family and brownstone renovations, have the ability to purchase properties and turn them into mixed-use buildings as large as 15 units.
50/50 split of new construction and renovation work with the average job valued at $2-4M

Description
The Project Manager is responsible for:
- Overseeing all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction planning to project closeout
- Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Collaborating closely with architects, designers, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project goals and maintain the highest standards of quality
- Monitoring on-site activities through communication with the field staff to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and design specifications
- Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks or delays, maintaining a problem-solving mindset throughout the project lifecycle
- Conducting regular site visits and meetings to track progress, address concerns, and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Managing procurement of materials and coordination of subcontractors to maintain workflow efficiency
- Fostering positive relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded
Profile
The right candidate has the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in high-end residential construction
- Must have experience building in Boston
- Familiarity with rules, procedures, zoning and regulations in the city of Boston
- Strong knowledge of luxury home-building practices, materials, and finishes
- Mix of renovation and new construction experience preferred
- Procore or similar construction software experience is a plus, but is not required
- Degree in construction or related preferred
