Payroll & Benefits Manager | NYC
We're seeking a proficient Payroll & Benefits Manager to oversee our clients payroll system and manage employee benefits. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience in payroll, and a strong understanding of benefits administration.
Client Details
Our client is a mid-sized nonprofit organization that is well-known in NYC.
Description
- Oversee and manage the organization's payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations
- Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions
- Manage the employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits
- Coordinate with HR to verify employee data for accuracy
- Ensure payroll and benefits documents are compliant with regulations
- Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries from management and staff in a timely manner
- Prepare and present reports summarizing payroll and benefits information
- Stay updated on payroll tax laws and regulations and ensure company compliance

Profile
A successful Payroll & Benefits Manager should have:
- Proficiency in payroll software; Ceridian preferred
- Familiarity with benefits and other compensation programs
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of $80,000 to $95,000
